The "Call of Duty: Warzone" map will return to the 80s, a leaked trailer has revealed. The footage appears to have leaked from an unfinished trailer and shows a new look for Verdansk. This may be more of a makeover than completely new content.

Earlier reports said that this season would be the last for the Verdansk map. However, Activision seems to have confirmed that the leak is real. In fact, VGC and its writer, Andy Robinson, had their Twitter accounts locked after posting about the leak. Robinson noted that Activision did the same thing last year when it tweeted about an upcoming update that had not been officially announced. Activision's copyright shenanigans aside, some players have reacted with incredulity to the leak and seem quite frustrated that the game will not be adding any new maps at all this season, which begins on April 22.
