It's time to start watching "MODOK The next Marvel TV series is coming soon, this week in fact, and I'm not talking about "Loki," which comes out on June 9, but rather "MODOK," an R-rated animated comedy featuring a comic book villain
You may have heard of MODOK He is the big floating head behind the terrorist group AIM and was one of the key villains in the recent "Avengers" video game; MODOK has yet to appear in the MCU, which is probably the next best thing
However, this is not the MODOK of the comics Instead, the series follows MODOK (voiced by Patton Oswalt) as he tries to balance his work as a supervillain with his duties as a father Yes, even villains have families and suburban homes with white fences
So if you want to see a nervous flying head fight superheroes and try to take over the world, this may be a show to watch Whether you're a fan of the comic book version or not; here's how to watch MODOK and check it out for yourself
Watching MODOK in the US is very easy, all you need is a subscription to Hulu, either a $6 ad-supported deal or a $12 ad-free deal
All 10 episodes will appear on the streaming service simultaneously on May 21 Then you can binge-watch the entire season in a weekend, as the streaming gods intended
Since Hulu is not available in the UK, MODOK will debut on Disney Plus instead The show is billed as a "Star Original" and will only appear on accounts that are not using parental controls that block this type of content This is because the show is R-rated and should not be shown with other Marvel animated shows
Unfortunately, Disney maintains a weekly delivery schedule, rather than delivering all 10 episodes at the same time This means that the first episode of MODOK will premiere on May 21, followed by a new episode every Friday until July 23
Hulu is also not available in Canada, so, as in the UK, MODOK will be available on Disney Plus It is still a Star Original, and Disney will stick to a weekly release schedule rather than binge the entire season in one weekend
Again, no Hulu, so MODOK will be available on Disney Plus in Australia through Star Channel Disney being Disney means that Australian viewers will also have to contend with a weekly release schedule
