If you haven't seen the new PS5 DualSense colors yet, where have you been? Sony's next-generation controller is an important part of the PS5 experience and is currently available for pre-order in Midnight Black and Cosmic Red. But this purple and green dual-sense controller is stirring our desires more than the new black and red options.

Twitter user @las_cebollas from @PS5Only shared concept images of the purple and green DualSense controllers. I just ordered a Cosmic Red DualSense, but I'm still hoping to get a purple DualSense. From the comments, it looks like everyone else thinks so too.

The purple DualSense is themed for the upcoming Ratchet & Clank: the green controller is a nod to Housemarque's Returnal. Both titles are exclusive to PS5 and take full advantage of the DualSense's features. Plus, they look great.

Until last week, DualSense was only available in white and black, the two colors in which the PS5 was released. Sony then announced an additional red and black lineup that will be available on June 18.

The Midnight Black controller is the cheaper of the two, priced the same as the white DualSense at most retailers, about $69/59 GBP/109 AUD. The Cosmic Red is a bit more expensive, at $74/64 pounds/119 Australian dollars.

If you were looking for a treat for yourself, the Cosmic Red seems to be harder to find, but this is due to anecdotal evidence of trying to find it in the days following the news. I suggest you pre-order as soon as possible. Most retailers won't charge you until the product ships, so you can always change your mind next month. But if there's anything we've learned from the PS5 debacle, it's that reservations pay off.
