The best features of the PS5 just hit the Pc — but there is a catch

There are many reasons to like the PS5, but the tactile triggers on the DualSense controller are among the best. Now PC gamers can try it out.

DualSense has been running on PCs for months, so it's nothing new. However, the "Metro Exodus" Enhanced Edition has just been updated to support a full set of haptic feedback on the controller. Yes, that includes haptic triggers.

Twitter user mrdomino_ shared a video of the DualSense haptic triggers in action, showing how they react when you fire a gun with the controller. However, it appears that it must be played in wired mode, not wireless.

This is obviously a feature you can't get with a keyboard and mouse. This may be enough for gamers who consider ditching their setup for a more console-like PC gaming experience.

Of course, we don't know if other games will support DualSense haptics in the future. It may be worth waiting for further support before investing $70 for the controller. Additionally, one has to contend with the fact that DualSense controllers are already prone to drifting.

But if you're a PC gamer who also dabbles in console gaming, this might be worth a shot. Especially if you were lucky enough to find a PS5 restock at the right time and get your hands on Sony's next-generation console.

In that case, you can also enjoy all the games that support DualSense controller haptics on the PS5. These games include "Hitman 3," "Spider-Man: Miles Morales," "Astro's Playroom," and the recently released "Returning. Metro Exodus" will also be available in mid-June, when the Enhanced Edition will be available on consoles.
