A list of Nintendo Switch Pro has popped up on Amazon

If there is a Nintendo Switch Pro listing on Amazon, there is no doubt that it will be available soon.

Twitter user @Alphabeat_g spotted the Switch Pro listing while browsing Amazon's Mexico website. The listing had a blank page labeled "New Nintendo Switch Pro" and listed Nintendo as the seller. This further confirms Bloomberg's report that the Nintendo Switch Pro should be released this year, announced before or during E3, and available for pre-order shortly thereafter.

Rumors of a Nintendo Switch Pro have been floating around for over a year now, with Bloomberg confirming that Nintendo had placed a large order for OLED panels from Samsung Display. Subsequently, other reports have corroborated the rumor.

Bloomberg reports that the Switch Pro will be priced higher than the current $299 Switch. Estimates range from $350 to $399. The latter price would be comparable to the PS5 digital version, but may be tougher for some, as it will likely not have the same computing power as Sony's console.

As for features, Bloomberg has stated that the device will be 4K capable and may utilize Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). Nintendo is also likely to include other small improvements, such as improved durability, a less flimsy kickstand, Bluetooth, and more advanced Wi-Fi support.

Another potential problem for current Switch owners is that the Switch Pro may have exclusive titles. This tidbit comes from a self-proclaimed industry insider who posted on the ResetEra forum, as reported by IBT. Like the New Nintendo 3DS with its increased horsepower, a handful of games were designed specifically for this hardware. In other words, it's not out of the realm of possibility, given that Nintendo has employed a similar strategy before.

Tom's Guide will continue to bring you news on the development of the Switch Pro as it becomes available.
