Target PS5 Replenishment now sold out - here's where to check the following inventory

Update: Target is sold out of PS5. Please check our PS5 restocking hub for the latest availability information. If you missed this shipment, restocking is confirmed for tomorrow (June 17) at Sony Direct.

Target has not restocked PS5s since May 27, but things have changed today as PS5s are back in stock at red retailers. However, that will not last long.

Stock will almost certainly sell out in an instant, so be quick if you want to get your hands on the console. This is the first restock in weeks, so don't miss this chance to secure your console. This restocking covers both the disc and digital versions of the game, but the latter appears to be sold out at the moment.

When Target does restock, it usually happens between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM EST, so keep an eye on the retailer's site during that time frame. Consoles will likely sell out within minutes, so you need to be quick and lucky. Use the buying advice below to find some useful tips that can give you an advantage.

The PS5 all-digital model is now even harder to find than the standard version, and major retailers have recently restocked only the PS5 disc version. However, Target's recent restocking includes both versions, perhaps a good sign that digital models will become more readily available in the coming weeks.

We are tracking restocking of the PS5 at Target as well as at each major retailer to ensure that we don't miss any stock-outs. Please bookmark our guide to where to buy a PS5 as soon as the latest inventory information becomes available.

First, make sure you have an account set up with your payment and address details saved. This is an essential step if you want to secure your PS5 when it is restocked. Stocking your basket is only half the battle, and you don't want your console to sell out while you are entering your details. Make sure everything is saved so you can check out in seconds.

Target is known for releasing inventory in waves, usually releasing the regular PS5 first, followed by a restock of the PS5 digital version. Therefore, even if the PS5 is already sold out at the retailer, it is worth sparing the time to go after the second wave.

Jake Randall also recommends using alternative payment methods such as PayPal, Apple Pay, and RedCard if possible. The advantage of these is that using another payment portal avoids Target's own servers, which have collapsed under the burden of trying to secure the order confirmation emails that thousands of people have coveted in the past.

Target also has an app that can be used to secure PS5. A good trick is to try to check out the restock on both your desktop and mobile device. Once you are able to add the PS5 to your cart on one, we recommend switching to the other to complete the checkout process. As long as you are logged in, the contents of your cart will be recorded.

Finally, during checkout, if your local store is sold out, you may edit your location to select a store that has PS5 in stock. If you encounter this issue, clear your browser cookies and try again.
