Prime Day phone deals are in their last few hours and some of the top models are out of stock. However, in the short time left to find the top Prime Day deals, the best phone deals we have found remain available.

Samsung's latest flagship is the main focus, but the top OnePlus phones coming in 2020 are also great deals. Motorola's attractive G-series phones are all discounted as well. Outside of Amazon, Verizon is offering attractive deals on iPhones.

Prime Day phone discounts can vary widely by device. Typical discounts range from $50 to $100 off major models, but now that Prime Day 2021 is in full swing, one can expect even more substantial discounts, especially on devices released at the beginning of the year or in late 2020.

Among the best deals are the budget models, but there are also Apple and Samsung flagship models in the mix.

Be wary of anything that looks too good to be true. Often carriers and retailers hide the true price behind activation and payment plans. They require that you be tied into a 24-month contract in order to receive billing credit (so that you do not pay the remaining balance to the carrier). They may also require a trade-in or new line activation.

In your search, you may come across refurbished devices (labeled "Renewed"). These can be hit or miss and should be handled with care.
