GameStop PS5 Replenishment Sold Out — Where to check your next stock

Update: GameStop has sold out of PS5 restocks, check the PS5 restock hub for updates on PS5 restocks. GameStop has not restocked the PS5 in over a week, but the long-awaited restocking has taken place as the gaming-focused retailer has dropped its PS5 inventory. However, you must be a PowerUp Reward Pro member to access it.

This latest PS5 restocking news originally came from TechRadar. The site received word from exclusive GameStop sources that the retailer is preparing to accept new orders for Sony's popular machine later today, making GameStop's PS5 restock the first since July 16.

TechRadar's tip was confirmed a few hours later when GameStop's newsletter announced that the retailer's next PS5 restock really will happen today. Popular inventory tracking Twitter account Wario64 was one of the first accounts to receive the email and post it online.

Last month, it was announced that GameStop would be offering Pro Reward Card members early access to restocks. The retailer's last three PS5 restocks have all offered priority access to Premium Reward Card members, and it has been confirmed that the restock taking place today will use the same system.

It is possible that the pro-member only sale will be followed by a general sale where anyone can purchase a PS5. However, this cannot be counted on. Past dropouts have sold out during the Pro Member Early Access period. If you can finally get your hands on a PS5, I suggest paying the $15/year Pro Membership.

In early June, GameStop announced a change in the way it handles restocking of game consoles, giving priority to PowerUp Rewards Pro members. Although there is a free tier, only Pro members will be the first to get restocks. Membership starts at $14.99 per year and includes a subscription to Game Informer, a $5 monthly rewards coupon ($60 total per year), an additional 10% trade credit for games/accessories, and a $5 welcome certificate. Sign up today and you will have access to restocking.

This may sound obvious, but you must have a GameStop account and be logged into your account when the restock begins. If nothing happens when you click the "Add to Cart" button, try refreshing the page. Or try clearing your browser cookies and opening the page in an incognito web browser. You may be prompted to unscramble the captcha before adding the console to your cart. It is not yet known if this restocking will be open to the public after the early access window.

As with previous GameStop PS5 restocking events, these units will sell out quickly. If you missed out, don't worry. There will be more restocking events in the future. Also, be sure to follow Restock Info for the most up-to-date restocking information. In the meantime, you can check other retailers' pages to see if they have quietly added new inventory.
