Previews for Halo Infinite begin this weekend, and invites are starting to arrive in the inboxes of lucky Halo Insiders. The beta will run from July 29-August 1, 2021, and those who can attend this weekend will be able to try out some of the next "Halo" game early.

343 Industries has confirmed that the testing will "focus on bots and some of the new academy experience."

However, the post also promises that future tech previews will also focus on traditional PVP arenas and big team battles.The release date for Halo infinite has not yet been confirmed, but is scheduled for "Holiday 2021." That means most gamers won't have to wait too long to play it.

Tech saw the release of the latest OnPlus Nord 2. OnePlus did not launch this device globally, but there was still considerable buzz around it on the Internet. For our assessment, see our review of the OnePlus Nord 2.

James Peckham of TechRadar writes: "Historically, OnePlus has made high-end phones at lower prices than its competitors. Peckham continued, "In fact, the OnePlus Nord 2 is one of the very best phones in this segment of the market, with a 50MP main rear camera, 65W fast charging, a 6.43-inch 1080 x 2400 display with 90Hz refresh rate, and impressive specs."

For Peckham, while the OnePlus Nord 2 does not offer the 120Hz refresh rate found on many Android flagships like Samsung's Galaxy S21, the screen quality and camera more than make up for it.

Overall, this is an incredibly impressive phone for the price.

And finally, The Coalition, the development team behind the latest "Gears of War" game, released a video of Unreal Engine 5.

In 2019, Gears 5 was released and its graphics received high praise. What is surprising is that Gears 5 ran on Unreal Engine 4, a suite of game production tools first released in 2014.

And now, thanks to The Coalition's work on Unreal Engine 5, we have an idea of what future Gears games will look like.
