This could be the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic

The first live images of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 have surfaced online, and these two versions, purportedly of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic model, may offer the best look yet at the upcoming smartwatch.

91Mobiles has released what are believed to be close-up images of the casing design and display in two different finishes. The black and silver options are supposedly of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, a lifestyle smartwatch that will replace Samsung's Galaxy Watch 3 and is expected to retain the fan-favorite rotating bezel.

The rumored image looks almost identical to a rendered image of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic released last month. While the rendered image did not show the band material, the live image seems to confirm that the smartwatch will come with a leather strap instead of a silicone one.

Instead, the regular Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will get a sportier strap. As an obvious follow-up to the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, the basic Watch 4 would not get a rotating bezel. However, it will be slimmer, more sweat-resistant, and more affordable than the classic version.

We already know that both Galaxy Watch 4 models will run the new Google Wear OS (Wear OS 3) and that Samsung's One UI Watch will be added for greater uniformity within its device ecosystem. We got a glimpse of the Galaxy Watch 4 watch face and the smartwatch's Google app in a video last week.

We are not sure about the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, but we are confident that each version will offer LTE and provide 5ATM and MIL-STD 810G durability. There are conflicting reports on size options (some say 40mm and 44mm, others 41mm and 45mm), and little more than Amazon's too-early listings on pricing.

Multiple leaks point to the advent of body composition analysis in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. A possible standout health feature of the smartwatch, body composition analysis could help users understand their fat and muscle composition without having to see a doctor or use the best smart scales.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are expected to debut at the Samsung Unpacked event on August 11, and it won't be long before the full range of features in the smartwatch lineup It won't be long before the full range of features of the smartwatch lineup is revealed.
