iPhone13 – A whopping 44% of iphone owners say they will buy

Those who still have older iPhones hoping to upgrade to the iPhone 13 later this year should be sure to confirm their pre-orders, as demand could be very high

That's according to a new survey by SellCell (via 9to5Mac) According to SellCell, 44% of current iPhone owners intend to purchase the iPhone 13 Given that Apple is reportedly increasing production by 20% to 90 million units, the handset maker is also expecting huge demand

Apple has also reportedly brought in a new Chinese supplier known as Luxshare The Cupertino-based company may be looking to diversify its supply chain to prevent supply shortages amid an already volatile parts situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic

Of all the upcoming models, the standard rumored 61-inch iPhone 13 was the most desired by survey participants, at 382% of potential buyers Next was the 67-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max at 308%, the iPhone Pro at 24%, and the iPhone 13 mini at just 7%

The online survey was conducted between July 28 and August 6 and included more than 3,000 US iPhone owners aged 18 and older

Aside from increased demand, the survey also found that fans expect a fresher display and a smaller notch or notchless design Surprisingly, portless design was the least anticipated feature (and probably won't happen), along with Wi-Fi 6E and reverse wireless charging

Interestingly, 273% of survey participants were looking forward to purchasing the rumored Apple Watch Series 7, while only 129% were interested in the rumored AirPods 3

The strangest part of another survey conducted by SellCell was that 183% of iPhone users reported triskaidekaphobia, or fear of the number 13 As many as 74% of users in the survey said they would like to give the iPhone 13 another name Well, they might like it, but that would not be enough of a factor to prevent them from buying it

It is important to note that SellCell does not have any advance information on what the iPhone 13 will carry Instead, the company appears to be using past reports and other leaked information as a test bed for survey questions
