Amazon PS5 stock is Sold Out — Where to Check your next stock

Update: Amazon is currently sold out of PS5 consoles again. Check out our PS5 restocking hub for the latest availability information and which retailers to check next for stock.

Amazon is currently running the first PS5 restock of the month. The retailer's servers seem to be struggling with the demand of so many customers trying to purchase the console at once and need to be prepared to deal with website issues, but customers are buying the console right now.

There is also currently a drop by Amazon Treasure Track. If you missed it, don't forget to sign up for Treasure Truck alerts in case there is a drop in your area in the future.

News of this restocking was originally brought to us by Matt Swider of our sister site TechRadar. He has a track record of being the first to spot PS5 restocks, and he proved to be right on the money this time around.

Matt reported on Twitter on the latest developments regarding various retailers, noting that Amazon has changed its links. This means that the retailer recently tweaked something on the PS5 listing page and updated the product URL. It seems likely that Amazon is preparing to take PS5 orders again, since when this has happened before, the decline was immediate and continued.

Last month, Amazon experimented with offering early restocking of the PS5 exclusively to Prime members. This new benefit was piloted on Amazon UK and has not yet been implemented on Amazon US. There is no indication that the next US restock will include an early access window, but that could change before the drop.

Speaking of the UK, inventory tracking accounts across the pond indicate that Amazon UK will also be dropping PS5 restocks in the next few days. The news, which originally came from the @ps5ukalerts Twitter account, is expected to give Prime members exclusive access to this restock, at least initially.

It should also be noted that nothing has been officially confirmed by Amazon as of yet, and while Matt Swider is certainly the most reliable source, restocking is not guaranteed until an announcement is made by the retailer in question. We recommend keeping an eye on Amazon over the next few days, but do not place all your hopes on this restocking.
