Starfield Unlisted Trailer shows off Stellar Locations - Watch them Now

Update: A new teaser trailer for Starfield suggests it will be a cross between Skyrim and The Expanse.

Since the Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase at E3 2021, we haven't heard much about Starfield. However, fans have discovered three unpublished videos posted on Bethesda Software's YouTube channel that seem to reveal the top three locations for the space RPG.

The three videos were posted on August 4 and appear to be less than a minute long. However, they are narrated by a behind-the-scenes commentary by Emil Pagliarulo, Design Director at Bethesda Game Studios, and give a pretty good idea of what we can expect from the upcoming Xbox exclusive.

The video details three cities called Neon, New Atlantis, and Akila, each with unique features and interesting backstories. The video is unlisted and can only be viewed through a direct link and does not appear on Bethesda Software's YouTube channel.

However, according to IGN, Bethesda has now confirmed that the video was shared with members of "Constellation." Constellation is a community club that anyone can sign up for to receive early updates and new information about Starfield.

Let's break down what we know about each of these locations so far.

Described as a "neon pleasure district," this vibrant urban area was initially built by Xenofresh as a huge fishing pier in a "nondescript water world." Later, the company discovered "psychotropic" fish and realized it could help the situation in a more profitable way. Zeno Fresh then developed a drug called "Aurora," apparently legal only in Neon.

"People come from everywhere to experience it and everything else Neon has to offer," Pagliarulo explained.

Pagliarulo shared more information about another Starfield location, the New Atlantis spaceport. This is the capital of the United Colonies (otherwise known as the U.C.), which Pagliarulo described as "the most powerful and established military and political faction in the game."

The video shows only one snapshot of the city, with someone standing next to a spaceship while looking over the city scene.

This cyberpunk 2077-like city is a "melting pot of races" and is home to a diverse population.

The third video reveals Aquila City, the capital of the Freestar collective, which consists of three star systems. According to Pagliarulo, Aquila is inhabited by a diverse population that strongly believes in individual freedom and individuality.

If you look closely at the image, you can catch a glimpse of a wall surrounding the entire city, and there is a reason for this. It is to protect the citizens from a deadly creature called the Ashta, described as "an alien predator that is a cross between a wolf and a velociraptor."
