Battlefield Mobile could be the next big fps for your phone — here's how to sign up for beta

Only in Indonesia and the Philippines, and only on Android devices, it has been officially announced that Battlefield Mobile will be conducting its first playtest this fall. Electronic Arts confirmed this on its dedicated FAQ page, revealing details about the upcoming mobile shooter.

Of course, as is the case with many mobile games, the subsequent playtest is expected to cover more territories; EA has also released the official link to the Google Play Store listing, with more information about the game and some screenshots The listings are available on the website. If the game is playable in your area, you can already pre-register.

First announced four months ago, Battlefield Mobile is a free-to-play game scheduled for release next year. Like other Battlefield titles, the mobile version will be a multiplayer first-person shooter in which you and your teammates will squad up to fight "massive environmental destruction" as you vie for control of tanks, ATVs, and other vehicles.

Other details include four classes to choose from: assault, support, medic, and recon. And you will be able to choose different weapon and gadget loadouts for these classes.

In addition, the battlefield features "wild situations and explosive scenes," such as "running through crumbling towers on an ATV, parachuting from a building while firing a rocket launcher, or burying enemies under the rubble of a destroyed building with a tank!"

The game is also available for the first time in the world.

As you progress through the game, you will be able to earn rewards, upgrade your weapons, and customize your character to fit your gameplay. The mobile game has nothing to do with EA's other title, Battlefield 2042, which is scheduled for release this fall on October 22.

As mentioned above, once the playtest is available in your area, you will be able to pre-register and receive all the news about the mobile game. The process is very simple.

First, you need to go to the "Battlefield Mobile" listing in the Google Play Store and look for the button that usually says "Download". Instead, there should be an option to pre-register.

Then, once the playtest has started in your area, you can download the game.

However, playtests are run on a first-come, first-served basis, so pre-registering does not automatically give you access to the game.

According to EA, the playtest is restricted to run only on phones running Android 7.0 or higher (check our photos for the best Android phones for devices that can run the game).

EA expects the playtest to cover a wide range of areas as we approach the October release date.
