Halo5 has not officially come to PC - you'll have to wait for Halo Infinite

Bad news for all Halo fans who prefer to play the game on the best gaming PCs. [This is thanks to a leaked list from the Nvidia GeForce Now database. But apparently not, despite the fact that all other "Halo" games are playable on PC thanks to "Halo: The Master Chief Collection". In other words, it appears that the next "Halo" PC game will be the upcoming "Halo Infinite."

According to Nvidia, the GeForce Now leak is indeed legitimate, but here's where things get weird. The company told Wccftech that the titles on its list are only "released and/or speculative titles" and are used "for internal tracking and testing purposes only." Further, inclusion on that list is "neither a confirmation nor an announcement of any game."

Some of the games listed in the GeForce Now document were quite far out, including Half Life 2 remastered, Bioshock 2022, Titanfall 3, remasters of the PS2-era Grand Theft Auto trilogy: GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas; there is also a Steam version of Alan Wake Remastered, which is odd considering the game is published by Epic Games, which has its own online store and platform.

As for Halo 5, 343i Community Director Brian Jarrad confirmed that Halo 5 will not be released on PC. He speculates that the listing may have something to do with Halo 5: Forge, which launched on PC in 2016, but not the full game.

Jarrad also added that the developers are currently fully focused on Halo Infinite and the Master Chief Collection, but "never say never."

It would make sense for 343i to eventually release "Halo 5" on PC. However, given that the "Halo 5" campaign was not very well received, it would not be a particularly high priority.

Multiplayer may be another story, but with "Halo Infinite" coming to PC on December 8 and the "Master Chief Collection" already available, there is little need for "Halo 5" multiplayer to jump There will not be.

In other words, those who want to play "Halo 5" right away will have to go out and buy an Xbox console. Thankfully, since it is an Xbox One title, there is no need to bother tracking down the Xbox Series X restocking.
