The long-awaited Sora from "Kingdom Hearts" has been announced as the last DLC fighter to be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He will be available starting October 18.

The news of Sora's entry was announced in a video hosted by Masahiro Sakurai, director of the Super Smash Bros. series, who introduced the new character's move set and its accompanying stage, Hollow Bastion.

Naturally, Sora uses his keyblade to attack enemies with ground combos, aerial moves, and side smashes. She can also cast spells such as Filaga, Sandara, and Blizzaga to inflict devastating magical damage, and can send other fighters flying into the air with her final smash, "Sealing the Keyhole." Unfortunately, Sakurai was not yet ready to demonstrate this great feat.

Hollow Bastion, on the other hand, brings familiar locations from Kingdom Hearts to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This dynamic stage features a giant tower in the background and players fight on a moving platform in the foreground. Near the end of the battle, the stage transitions to an area inspired by "Dive to the Heart," where familiar faces gather to pay their respects to "Kingdom Hearts."

Sora and Hollow Bastion are part of Challenger Pack 11, which is included in the $29.99 Fighter's Pass Vol. 2. When you download Challenger Pack 11, you also get nine songs from "Kingdom Hearts". Players with "Kingdom Hearts" save data will also have access to the nine "Kingdom Hearts" songs: those with "Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory" save data will also be able to enjoy one additional song. [Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix", "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue", and "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be available on Nintendo Switch through Cloud Games.
