Today marks the full reveal of the Google Pixel 6 series, bringing an end to the almost incessant barrage of links and official teasers We know a lot about the Pixel 6, but there are still unanswered questions - one of which is what pre-order bonuses will be offered
If this new leak from Target's internal system (via Android Police) is to be believed, it appears that pre-orders of the Pixel 6 will be offered a pair of heavily discounted Pixel Buds A-Series
According to the leak, those who pre-order the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro will receive $99 off the total price when purchased with a pair of Pixel Buds; Target is selling the Pixel Buds A-Series for $9999, so it really is wireless earbuds for just 99 cents It's not quite free, but it's close enough that you can't complain
The promotion runs today (October 19) at 11am PT (2pm EST), just as Google's Pixel 6 launch event is expected to conclude This means that pre-orders for the Pixel 6 could begin immediately Or at least they will start at Target
Not the most exciting pre-order offer in the world, but if you plan to order the Pixel 6 anyway, you would be foolish not to take advantage of any deals The only question is whether this pre-order offer is available at other retailers, or if Target is the only place offering this discounted bundle
After all, there are plenty of leaks suggesting that Google will launch a redesigned Pixel Stand wireless charger with the Pixel 6 Given that the last Pixel Stand cost $79 and was available as a pre-order bonus for the Pixel 3 when purchased through certain carriers, one would have expected history to repeat itself
That's still a possibility, but we won't know until Google leaks the information
Similarly, the Google Pixel Watch is expected to be available today, and it's not hard to imagine retailers bundling it with the Pixel 6 While there's no chance of getting it for free if you pre-order the Pixel 6, the possibility of it being bundled at a discount is not unrealistic
The Pixel 6 launch event will begin at 1:00 PM ET (10:00 AM PT, 10:00 AM PST), and you can follow all the announcements on the Pixel 6 event live blog Also, see our article on Pixel 6 rumors
