GameStop PS5 replenishment is over now - here's where to check your next inventory

Update: Today's GameStop PS5 restock has ended. Two bundles were available for Power Up Rewards Pro members, but both packages have sold out. Please check the PS5 Restock Hub for the latest restock information and the next retailer you should check to see what is in stock.

GameStop is currently restocking the PS5, which is the first restock of the month for the store. The highly in-demand console is available in two different bundles that include games such as Far Cry 6 and an additional controller. As expected, you must be a GameStop PowerUp Reward Pro member to participate in this PS5 restock.

News of this latest PS5 restock originally came from inventory tracking account Wario64, with stock becoming available shortly after 11:00 AM EST. Bundles are not expected to last long, so please use the link below to secure your copy as soon as possible.

It has also been confirmed that this GameStop PS5 restock will once again be exclusively for Pro Reward Card members; it was announced over the summer that GameStop would be offering early access to restocks to Pro members. Premium Reward Card members have been given priority access to all of the past eight PS5 restocks, and this system is not expected to change until next year.

It is possible that the ProMember-only sale will be followed by a general sale where anyone can purchase a PS5. However, this cannot be counted on. All previous dropouts have sold out during the Pro Member Early Access period. If you can finally get your hands on a PS5, it's a small price to pay.

GameStop has always bundled PS5 allocations into bundles. These packages include additional controllers, physical games, and often items such as digital credits and PlayStation Plus memberships. This time around, it will be the same. The retailer initially listed the console as a stand-alone purchase, but that listing has since been removed.

GameStop also plans to restock the PS5 in stores this Friday, October 22; if signing up for a Power Up Rewards Pro membership to get a PS5 is a bit ...... If so, please bookmark the PS5 Restocking Hub. This comprehensive guide contains inventory information and updates from each major retailer.

In early June, GameStop announced a change in the way it handles restocking of game consoles: PowerUp Rewards Pro members will be given priority, with the PS5 restocking tier now being free. There will be a free tier, but only Pro members will be the first to get restocks. Membership starts at $14.99 per year and includes a subscription to Game Informer, a $5 monthly rewards coupon ($60 total per year), an additional 10% trade credit for games/accessories, and a $5 welcome certificate. Sign up today and you will have access to restocking.

This may sound obvious, but you should have a GameStop account and be logged into your account when the restock begins. If nothing happens when you click the "Add to Cart" button, try refreshing the page.

Alternatively, try clearing your browser cookies and opening the page in a secret web browser. You may be prompted to unscramble the captcha before adding the console to your cart. It remains to be seen if this restocking will be open to the public after the early access window.

As with previous GameStop PS5 restocking events, these units will sell out quickly. If you missed out, don't worry. Restocking events will continue to be held in the future. Also, be sure to follow Restock Info for the most up-to-date restocking information. In the meantime, you can visit other retailers' pages to see if they have quietly added new inventory.
