GameStop PS5 Replenishment Sold Out - Where to Check your next inventory

Update: GameStop's PS5 restocking has ended. Be sure to check our PS5 restocking guide for the latest availability information and the next retailer to check inventory. This is GameStop's second online restocking of the PS5 this month, and will take place the same week as the PS5 in-store restocking event scheduled for Friday, October 29.

The restock was initially confirmed by the retailer in a gif post on social media. Yes, restocks are now announced by internet memes. As with previous restocks, inventory became available shortly after 11:00 AM EST. During this restock, PS5 consoles are only available in bundles, and this drop is also exclusive to Power Up Rewards Pro members.

Yesterday GameStop tweeted that PowerUp Reward Pro members have a number of additional benefits, including early access to the next-generation console drop; GameStop has made similar posts multiple times in the past, and in most cases, the consoles were restocked the next day.

When a popular inventory tracking account noted this trend, GameStop responded with a GIF of actor Lamorne Morris (from TV's "New Girl") smirking. This was taken as an indication that the restocking pattern was continuing and that the inventory was nearing depletion. This has now been officially confirmed by GameStop.

Twitter exchanges have also confirmed that this GameStop PS5 restock is once again limited to Pro Rewards cardholders. Back in the summer, it was announced that GameStop would be offering Pro members early access to the restock. Since then, GameStop has offered priority access to Premium Rewards cardholders, and this system is not expected to change until at least next year.

It is possible that this Pro members-only sale will be followed by a general sale where anyone can purchase a PS5. However, don't expect this to happen. All previous dropouts have sold out during the Pro Member Early Access period. If you can finally get your hands on a PS5, I suggest paying the $15 annual Pro Membership.

GameStop has always bundled PS5 allocations into bundles. These packages include additional controllers, physical games, and often items such as digital credits and PlayStation Plus memberships. This time is no different, with Far Cry 6 and Ghosts of Tsushima: Director's Cut bundles being offered. We were hoping for something with the new Guardians of the Galaxy game in it, but we were sorely disappointed.

If you missed this online sale, GameStop will be restocking the PS5 in stores this Friday, October 29; if signing up for a PowerUp Reward Pro membership to get a PS5 is a bit ...... If so, please bookmark the PS5 Restocking Hub. This comprehensive guide contains inventory information and updates from each major retailer.

In early June, GameStop announced a change in the way it handles restocking of game consoles, giving priority to PowerUp Rewards Pro members, who will be able to receive a free restocking tier for their consoles. There will be a free tier, but only Pro members will be the first to get restocks. Membership starts at $14.99 per year and includes a subscription to Game Informer, a $5 monthly rewards coupon ($60 total per year), an additional 10% trade credit for games/accessories, and a $5 welcome certificate. Sign up today and you will have access to restocking.

This may sound obvious, but you should have a GameStop account and be logged into your account when the restock begins. If nothing happens when you click the "Add to Cart" button, try refreshing the page.

Alternatively, try clearing your browser cookies and opening the page in a secret web browser. You may be prompted to unscramble the captcha before adding the console to your cart. It is not yet known if this restocking will be open to the public after the early access period.

As with previous GameStop PS5 restocking events, these units will sell out quickly. If you missed out, don't worry. Restocking events will be held in the future. Also, be sure to follow Restock Info for the most up-to-date restocking information. In the meantime, you can visit other retailers' pages to see if they have quietly added new inventory.
