Best Buy is currently restocking the PS5. The electronics retailer just last week received a new order for Sony's in-demand next-generation console, but has already managed to replenish sufficient stock levels.

News of this restocking originally came via Best Buy's newsletter (which was quickly shared on Twitter). The retailer confirmed that members would have exclusive access to the PS5 restock "tomorrow morning." However, this restocking would technically take place in the afternoon, so it was probably delayed by a few hours.

This restock will not only be available for the PS5, but also for the Nintendo Switch OLED at Best Buy. This restock will be great news for those looking for Nintendo Switch OLEDs, as they have been very hard to find since their release in October.

The bad news is that these restocks are for Totaltech members only; this is not the first time Best Buy has restricted restocks to premium members; GameStop and Amazon have also paid for PS5 restocks as well, but Best Buy's Totaltech member-only restocking is the most pernicious, as it costs a hefty $200 per year for membership.

If you already have (or are considering joining) a Totaltech membership, don't miss this opportunity to secure your PS5. You can also bookmark the PS5 Restocking Hub to stay up-to-date on all major retailers, including all but the $200 paid retailers.

As with most retailers, make it a priority to pre-set up a Best Buy account. Make sure your payment details and address information are saved in advance to save valuable time at checkout. It could be the difference between getting your PS5 and leaving empty-handed.

Previously, Best Buy's PS5 restocking process required you to refresh the product page until the yellow "Add to Cart" button or gray "Please Wait" button appeared. However, Best Buy's new process puts you on a waiting list. A pop-up window will appear with a "Confirm Account" and a confirmation of inventory. You will therefore need to sign in to your account immediately.

If you find that the PS5 is no longer in stock, you can try again in the secret browser. Repeat this process until you can (hopefully) get the console.
