How to Watch G4 Online Without Cable

Watching G4 online (or cable) is an attack on the rebooted video game TV network That's right, folks, hosts Kevin Pereira and Adam Sessler are back on the air after a nine-year long hiatus They also brought in Sasuke, aka Ninja Warrior

But many things have changed in the years since G4 left the airwaves Now it is no longer strange (well, for most people) to see people playing video games; it is actually mainstream So the good news is that the G4 doesn't just exist on cable like it once did That's basically a recipe for disaster, because viewers will be out of touch with the best cable TV alternatives

The early G4 reboot content will not air on cable TV alone; the Philo streaming service (with over 60 channels for $25/month) is the only over-the-top live TV service that hosts the entire channel, but if you don't have Philo If you don't, G4 is elsewhere (check out our Philo review for more info)

Philo is available on many of the best streaming devices, including Chromecast, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and Android TV Unfortunately, its channel assortment is not enough for most cable cutters, so it is not one of the best streaming services

G4 also plans to broadcast some of its programming live on Twitch and YouTube, since we are in the online age The schedule for the launch week is as follows:

G4 has three footholds in traditional linear cable TV: Verizon Fios, Cox, and Xfinity TV Channel numbers are not published at this time, but if you subscribe to one of these services and a search in the menu does not work, contact your provider to see where they are putting G4 There is a very good chance it is in a tier that you are not subscribed to

We will update this section as G4 channels are publicized and spread to more networks

In addition to the familiar programming rebooted by Pereira ("Attack of the Show") and Sessler ("Xplay"), the new G4 will feature celebrities, D&D players, and other popular online personalities campaigning for popular tabletop games A limited series of "Dungeons & Dragons" will also air

Another big name on G4 is WWE Superstar Xavier Woods (aka Austin Watson), who is very popular on his YouTube gaming channel UpUpDownDown Woods, who won the King of the Ring Tournament and is now known as King Woods, will be the host of an upcoming public show produced in partnership with WWE Could the silence about the show be related to Fightful Select's report that Up Up Down Down is no longer producing content due to a dispute between Woods/Watson and WWE?

Pereira will be assisted by Gina Darling, Cassim "Cassim G" Garaibe, Will Neff, and Fiona Nova for Attack of the Show work

Sessler's Xplay will also feature Jirard "The Completionist" Khalil and Corey "The Black Hokage" Smallwood

G4 will also feature "Boosted," a new show hosted by Indiana "Froskurinn" Black, Ovilly May, and Alex "Goldenboy" Mendez; online content creator ScottTheWoz Scott Wozniak will also appear
