If you're looking for Black Friday deals for a new Samsung phone, this may be the offer you've been waiting for.

Amazon U.K. has the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE starting at £469. This is a flagship-level phone discounted to the price of a mid-range-level phone, and is arguably one of the best Black Friday phone deals we've seen.

But American readers are not left behind, either: an unlocked Galaxy S20 FE 5G is available on Amazon for $655.

Keep in mind that this isn't the heaviest discount we've seen for this phone on Amazon; we've seen the S20 FE drop to £422 in the UK and $549 in the US. But it's up to you whether you want to wait for a better offer or attack it now while it's still guaranteed to be in stock.

In the UK, we see on the store page that there are two chip options for the 4G version, with the Exynos 900 version being slightly cheaper than the Snapdragon 865 version. We only tested the Snapdragon version, and while the benchmark results for the Exynos version are slightly worse, you won't notice a difference in everyday use.

The 5G version has no such option and will have a Qualcomm chip whether we like it or not. However, the price difference between the 4G and 5G models is only 41 pounds, so unless you have a lot of money to spend, the 5G version may allow you to use more of your phone as 5G coverage expands.

As noted above, the Amazon U.S. discount is not as deep. Still, if you want an unlocked S20 FE, this is a good way to go. Most Black Friday deals are offered through cellular carriers, and providers are very eager to switch.

In our review of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, the phone's 120Hz display, powerful triple rear camera performance and processing power were all impressive parts of the experience. They also praised the original price as very good and how Amazon's promotions show how good of a deal it is.

The biggest drawback is that the Galaxy S20 FE box does not include a charging brick. Fortunately, you will be able to get a compatible 25W charger this Black Friday for a reasonable price there.
