"Uncharted - Atlantis in the Desert: The Uncharted Legacy of Sleep Collection" is the first official PS5 release of Sony's long-running action-adventure series. That's because players will be able to take control of explorers Nathan Drake and Chloe Fraser as they journey to the edge of the world with smoother resolution, frame rates, and loading times than ever before. The Legacy of Thieves Collection also does not include any new elements, which is somewhat disappointing since "Uncharted" fans will almost certainly have played these games before.

The information comes from the official PlayStation Blog, where Annabelle Hua, Brand Marketing Manager, explains the upgrades that "Uncharted" players can expect from the "Legacy of Thief's Collection." announced in September. If you already play these games on PS4, you can expect several upgrades with PS5. First of all, you will be able to choose one of three different modes: Fidelity mode will aim for 4K resolution and a frame rate of 30 fps, Performance mode will stabilize the frame rate at 60 fps with varying resolutions, and Performance+ mode will aim for 120 fps, but the resolution is fixed at 1080p. Sony also promises improved load times and 3D audio.

Gamers who already own the PS4 versions of Uncharted 4 and/or Lost Legacy will not have to pay the full $50 to upgrade to PS5. Instead, they may pay a flat $10 for the upgrade for both games. However, if they purchase the physical version, they must keep the PS4 disc on hand.

Yet another perk. Gamers who purchase the Legacy of Thieves Collection, either as a standalone or as an upgrade, will receive theater tickets to the Uncharted movie. The movie will be released in February 2022, and the offer is valid in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand if the game is purchased by February 3.

Granted, the Legacy of Thief collection has some drawbacks. Unlike "Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade" and "Ghosts of Tsushima Director's Cut," the Legacy of Thieves Collection has no new content. If you've already played Uncharted 4 or Lost Legacy, you're just paying for a prettier paint job. 11]
