To get you in the holiday spirit, Amazon has introduced a brand new novelty voice for its popular cloud-based voice service, Alexa.

On the best Alexa speakers, to turn Alexa into the voice of 'Ol Saint Nick,' simply speak the command, "Alexa, enable 'Hey Santa.'" Then you will be able to talk to everyone's favorite bearded gift giver in a variety of interesting and unique ways.

There are actually quite a few things you can do with Alexa's gorgeous new voice. You can ask Santa to sing you holiday songs or tell you funny stories. If you request it, Santa will even tell you jokes to make you laugh. Of course, you can ask Santa to do things you already rely on Alexa to do, but setting a timer while checking in with his jolly voice is bound to be even more fun.

In addition to these general features, you can also ask Santa a variety of Christmas-specific questions and get humorous responses. Simply say "Hey Santa" before asking a question, and you can ask Santa about his favorite food or about his favorite reindeer. Even better, if you ask if you are naughty or nice, Santa will ask you his own set of questions to determine if you deserve a present this year.

Unfortunately, not every question will be answered by Santa. You may be surprised at the number of audio lines, but there are limits. In such cases, however, you can ask Alexa questions as usual before turning your attention to Santa.
