Another leaked video of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra dummy device has been released, revealing that it will likely feature a Galaxy Note-like rectangular design
The video from YouTuber Unbox Therapy was later deleted but re-uploaded by others And it lends further credence to the idea that the standard Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus models will feature an evolutionary design rather than the revolution of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus
The aforementioned new models appear to have a glossy, rounded rectangular design and a transparent camera module with the Contour Cut design seen on the Galaxy S21 It is not clear whether the back of the standard phone will be plastic like the previous model or glass
However, it seems that the Galaxy S22 Ultra really steals the short show here Like the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, the S22 Ultra appears to have a matte black back However, rather than using the Contour Cut camera module, the rear camera quintet appears to be fairly embedded in the underside of the device
The video clearly shows that the blocked rectangular design of the Galaxy Note series, beloved by many, including myself, appears to be locked in on the largest Galaxy S22 phone We also get a glimpse of what appears to be an S Pen holder, which would give the S22 Ultra an immediate advantage over the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which supports the S Pen but lacked an easy way to store it without a case
While we cannot confirm the legitimacy of this video, the design shown here is consistent with many of the recent rumors surrounding the new model, suggesting that this video may be on target
Speaking of other leaked information, the Galaxy S22 series is said to feature a series of upgrades, from improved sensors and camera capabilities in all three models to a new Exynos chipset that may include AMD graphics, but the US model may instead feature a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip It is also said that at least the S22 Ultra will have 45W of charging and a very bright display
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S22 series will be announced in February, either before or during Mobile World Congress 2022 This means that it will not be long until the details of the upgrades on the Galaxy S22 phones are officially announced
