The 2021 Big East Tournament is coming to a close with a live stream of Georgetown vs Creighton And you read that right Led by Patrick Ewing, the No 8-ranked Hoosiers made it all the way to the finals, including an upset of top-ranked Villanova
This was no great surprise, as Villanova was not in perfect shape Guard Colin Gillespie left with a knee injury, and this past Saturday the team was bitten by the injury bug again This time, Justin Moore (the team's third-leading scorer) went down with an ankle injury
And second-seeded Creighton is without coach Greg McDermott With the top two seeds each having their own problems, this tournament has great potential for surprises
So let's move down one spot and look at UConn The third-seeded team is currently riding a four-game winning streak And the Huskies are playing with a lot of potential A good finish here could move them up from 8th place in the NCAA Tournament
Here's everything you need to watch the Big East 2021 Tournament from Madison Square Garden:
Unlike the ACC Tournament, the top teams only get a one-day bye, at which point the only three to skip Wednesday play teams are there As mentioned above, UConn is a team to watch, but the more we look at this bracket, the more we see that top-seeded Villanova will have to be very determined to stay out of the top half of the bracket
The early part of the tournament was broadcast exclusively on FS1, while the final was broadcast on FOX
All times below are Eastern time
Round 1: Wednesday, March 10 (FS1)
Quarterfinals: Thursday, March 11 (FS1)
Semifinals: Friday, March 12 (FS1)
Championship game: Saturday, March 13 (Fox)
Hoops fans, for some If for some reason you have to leave your "bubble" or for some strange reason you can't watch FS1 or Fox where you are, if you can't watch the live stream of the Big East Tournament you want, you are not out of luck! With a virtual private network, or VPN, you can pretend that you are surfing the net from your hometown (or anywhere else that doesn't experience power outages) and access the same streaming services that you have already paid for
Not sure which VPN is right for you? After testing a variety of services, the best VPN overall is ExpressVPN; ExpressVPN offers great speed and excellent customer service, and IPVanish's low pricing is shocking
In the United States, the Big East Tournament begins on the FS1 network, with the finals moving to FOX These matches can be seen on your two favorite streaming services, fuboTV and Sling TV The full schedule is shown above
To watch everything on Sling, you need the Sling Orange+ Blue package ($50/month), which includes FS1 and FOX If you are on a budget, Fubo TV's starter tier packs both of the above channels (124 total) for $65/month For the three tournaments this week, Fubo packs CBS, which is the only place to watch all the matches
Once March Madness is in full swing, CBS may be better served by a combination of Sling and Paramount Plus; Sling offers TruTV, TBS, and TNT, which Fubo does not
American basketball fans who cannot watch tournaments while traveling may need to check out services such as ExpressVPN; ESPN Player (£999/month, £6999/year) may also be helpful
I don't know how many college basketball games are broadcast on TSN, but I do know that there are several ACC games But perfectionists who have no way to watch the games, like those in the UK, will need to use a VPN service like ExpressVPN
