We've seen a lot of great deals since the Mac Mini M1 debuted, but this weekend's sale is the best yet.

For a limited time, Amazon is offering the Mac Mini with M1 for $599.99. (It retails for $669, but you can save an additional $69.01 at checkout, bringing the final price to $599.99.) Combined, that's a $100 discount, the lowest price we've seen for a new Apple Mac. It's also one of the best Apple deals we've seen so far.

In our review of the Mac Mini M1, we marveled at its design and powerful performance; the base version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage is the cheapest model, but other variants enjoy significant discounts as well.

In informal testing, we ran over a dozen Safari tabs while watching 4K videos on YouTube with no noticeable performance degradation; even while writing the review with over 30 tabs open, the Mac Mini never faltered.

Of course, this isn't the only bargain right now: a 512GB model is also available on Amazon for $849 ($50 off). This is a price we've seen before, however, but this is the first time we've seen it priced at $599.
