Did you hear? It's official: the cast of Friends is reuniting! [Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer have signed on as part of the launch of a new streaming service, HBO Max, which will launch in May

If you didn't know, AT&T spent over $400 million to pull "Friends" away from Netflix and launch its own service

According to a press release, the untitled, unscripted "Friends" special will return to Stage 24 in Burbank for a reunion special

Ben Winston will direct the special and serve as executive producer along with "Friends" executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kaufman, and David Crane Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry, and Schwimmer will also serve as executive producers

So what are you going to do between now and then? Watch more "Friends," of course! Over the next four weeks, TBS will air all episodes of "Friends" on TBS and live on the TBS app weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm

Overall, HBO Max promises 10,000 hours of "curated premium content" at launch for $1499 per month The service will combine content from HBO, new original series, third-party licensed shows and movies, New Line, DC, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, and Adult Swim
