There are no major holidays in March, but there are plenty of cheap MacBooks on sale.

Best Buy currently has a 13-inch MacBook Pro (128GB) for $1,049.99. This is a $250 discount and the cheapest 13-inch MacBook Pro sale we have seen to date. Meanwhile, the 13-inch MacBook Pro (256GB) is also on sale for $1,249.99. That's also a $250 discount, the second lowest price we've seen for this model. (It was $50 cheaper during the holidays.) While specials on the MacBook Pro are common, this is the first time the base model has been this cheap.

Personally, I would recommend the 2.4GHz MacBook Pro, which sells for $1,499.99 ($300 off). This configuration has a faster CPU and four Thunderbolt 3 ports (the base model has only two). It is also a bit more future-proof than the two base models, which rely on a 1.4 GHz CPU.

Whichever model you choose to buy, this is the best deal on a 13-inch MacBook Pro yet, so get in quick before they sell out.
