While Sony has not released any official news about the PS5, fans around the world are building their dream PlayStation 5 through concepts and renderings.

One such mockup is this cool video released by Concept Creator.

The video begins with a dramatic zoom of the system's AMD Ryzen processor (we already know that the PS5 will have an 8-core Zen CPU) and then shows the mock console's exterior. This fan-rendered PS5 has a slim rectangular design and a healthy group of ports, including four USB-A connections and two USB-C connections. The PS5 in the video is black, but the one shown in the thumbnail is white, a color option we sincerely hope Sony will offer in the next generation of consoles.

The PS5 concept also includes an optical drive, which Concept Creator shows off with a rough rendition of a Halo disc being placed inside the console; the commercial also shows "4K 60fps gameplay" (which we know the PS5 will target PS5 targets) and 14 teraflops of graphics power. This is more than the 12 teraflops of the Xbox Series X and is consistent with the rumored specs regarding the PS5 Pro.

The video also shows a new PS5 controller concept with a full display on the touchpad area and a textured grip. The DualShock in this concept appears much slimmer than the DualShock 4, with smaller triggers and shoulder buttons. We already know that the upcoming PS5 pad will feature advanced haptics for a more immersive rumble, but an interactive screen and better grip would be a nice added touch.

Of course, this is just a fan rendering and not an indication of what the PS5 will actually look like. Expect to get official information about Sony's next-generation console at the launch event, which is rumored to take place as early as this month. Until then, we can expect to see more cool fan creations coming our way.
