PS5 monopoly teased by Sony developers - is this Horizon Zero Dawn 2?

PS5 has yet to announce any first-party exclusives; one of the PS4's highlights was the open-world action game Horizon: Zero Dawn, for which a tweet from the developer has led to hopes of a sequel in the near future.

Dutch developer Guerilla Games posted a tweet on the Guerilla Jobs Twitter page with the hashtag "PS5," which was later deleted. Fortunately, the tweet was screenshot by Justlava on Reddit and posted to r/PS5 (via GamesRadar).

As the above post shows, the now-deleted tweet was about recruiting a senior AI developer "who can make a difference in the design and implementation of the systems that bring our NPCs to life."

A previous Guerrilla Games job posting (via GamesRadar) sought a developer with experience in multiplayer game elements. This suggests that the next installment of Horizon may include some sort of online mode, or that Guerrilla will return to the original PlayStation-exclusive Killzone franchise.

The PS5 remains fairly mysterious at the time of this writing, except for the dual-sense controller. This is in contrast to the Xbox Series X, which Microsoft has been showing off since December 2019. We expect a major announcement of both models as early as next month, followed by the release of both models in time for the holiday season.
