Sony has more secrets about the PS5, according to a former principal software engineer who has worked on the next-generation PlayStation.

On Twitter, Matt Hargett wrote that more will be announced by Sony regarding the PS5." There is a lot that is not in the leaks. There is a lot that is being kept secret," he tweeted.

Rather than secrets, what Sony must do is reveal the actual design of the PS5. So far, all we have seen is a development kit and a slew of polished renderings of what the console will look like, with nothing official from Sony. In contrast, we have seen a full, detailed hardware breakdown of the Xbox Series X.

We did get a glimpse at the somewhat controversial DualSense controller for the PS5, but hardware details outside of the console's specs remain under wraps. As such, Sony will likely reveal the console's design in the not-too-distant future.

It will also be interesting to see how the PS5's features such as ultra-fast SSDs for fast game loading, ray tracing, and 3D audio will be integrated into gaming. And speaking of games, a PS5 game announcement is expected soon.

According to the latest rumors and speculation, "Horizon Zero Dawn 2" will be a PS5 exclusive title, and a new "Crash Bandicoot" game will also be announced. A "Far Cry 3" remake for PS5 and Xbox Series X. Actor Michael Mando, who played the game's main antagonist Vaas, also known for his role as Nacho Varga in "Better Call Saul," has said that Vaas may return in some form in the near future, which may come to fruition.

We have a list of games to expect from the PS5, but so far we have not heard any real details about what the PS5 might have in terms of exclusive games, especially launch titles. As such, it is almost certain that Sony is keeping it a secret. [The developers of Quantum Error have released screenshots of the upcoming horror game on PS4 and PS5. The game will feature ray tracing and 4K resolution running at 60 frames per second, but the trailer released by the developer was not made on the console itself, but on a PC running on "similar settings" to the PS5.

We hope Sony has additional information to share with the gaming world, such as a new PlayStation VR headset. However, until Sony has more information from the PlayStation division, all we can do is speculate.
