Microsoft's Xbox Series X is already looking like a next-generation gaming console to be reckoned with However, one designer has taken on the challenge of adding more features to this gaming console
Dubbed Project Oris by Joseph Dumary (via T3), it combines an Xbox Series X console with 3D speakers and an 8K projector to create an all-in-one game center, or as Dumary describes it
This concept is a "smart console"
The concept also includes an Xbox Digital Assistant for smart home, music, and console-related voice commands It also includes a controller with a center touchscreen display, fingerprint D-Pad, and wireless charging, allowing the controller to be powered wirelessly from a remote location If you want to connect the console to something, the usual ports remain on the back
The soundbar and projector are common accessories for gamers who don't want to rely on a TV; products like Project Oris combine all of these in one package, but this is definitely a top-of-the-line product for enthusiasts
However, this is only an informal design While exciting, it is definitely not something we will see on the next generation Xbox, or even the PS5
The Xbox Series X is aimed at high-end graphics power, with 12 teraflops of computing power, ray tracing capabilities, 8K resolution output, and fast loading SSD storage According to the latest rumors, there will also be an Xbox Series S for low-budget gamers
On the other side of the gaming console divide, the PS5 is not as muscular, but instead is intended to impress with 3D audio, a unique SSD design, and an overhauled DualSense controller Both companies expect to ship consoles around November of this year, barring any problems with the production process in the coming months
