The pre-order for the first PS5 game is live - and it looks pretty damn cool

The PS5's big unveiling event may have been postponed, but you can already pre-order games for the upcoming console. The pre-order page doesn't give a timeline for Sony's PS5 release date, but it is expected to launch on December 31, 2021, which is probably a typical placeholder date.

And the good news for all gamers is that this wild action title will not be available exclusively on Sony's next-generation console. Bandai Namco's Scarlet Nexus is now available for pre-order on Amazon for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Its aesthetic is quite similar to "Persona 5 Royal," which I have now played for about 100 hours.

Scarlet Nexus was first announced last month, and a trailer has been released to give us a glimpse of its style. The trailer shows plant-based monsters called Others arriving on Earth and destroying homes.

The only hope for humanity seems to be a sword-wielding psionic soldier, a child named Yuit Smelagi. In a pretty cool trailer, it appears that Yuit has a group of friends called the OSF, and that they will need each other's help to stop the Others.

Will this reserved news lead to further announcements? Or will we have to wait for Sony's PS5 event scheduled for this month? We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for everything PS5 has to offer.
