Apple's current MacBook Air features a new keyboard, longer battery life, and a lower price. For a limited time, Amazon is making Apple's entry-level laptop even cheaper.

The new MacBook Air 2020 has everything we've been looking for in a Mac laptop. The most noticeable updates are the addition of a 10th generation Intel CPU and an increase in storage capacity from 128GB to 256GB. (Apple typically only offers 128GB on the base model.) The base model has a 13.3" 2560 x 1600 Retina display, a Core i3-1005G1 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD.

In our review of the MacBook Air 2020, we liked the laptop's new Magic Keyboard. The keys have 1 mm of travel, an improvement from the 0.7 mm of last year's keys. This is a huge difference, and it doesn't feel like you're slamming your fingers against metal.

For everyday tasks, a Core i3 CPU should be sufficient. In our testing, we split the screen with 12 Safari tabs and a 1080p YouTube video, with no slowdowns or stutters. We wish it were a little faster at this price, but for now, this is the best MacBook for most people.
