The Steam Summer Sale 2020 is underway, and running through July 9, it's your chance to pick up some of the hottest PC games at crazy low prices.

In addition to tons of great deals, this year's Steam Summer Sale will also feature a points store. As you purchase games, you'll earn points that can be redeemed for items such as Steam profile backgrounds and animated stickers for use in Steam chat.

This point system also seems to reflect past purchases, and at the start of the sale, several thousand points had already been accumulated in my account. Also, be sure to check Steam often, as you can get a free sticker every day during the sale.

The Steam Summer Sale will run until July 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time / 1 p.m. ET, with new deals every day until the end.
