The OnePlus Buds outperform the AirPods when it comes to charging speed, providing 10 hours of power in just 10 minutes of charging time
In an interview with TechRadar, Jay Liu, project manager for the OnePlus Buds, explained that the use of OnePlus' Warp Charge technology allows for very fast charging in the company's first truly wireless headphones Comparatively, AirPods can only be charged for three hours on a 15-minute charge
Reassuringly, no special charger like OnePlus' Warp Charge 30 is needed As long as the charger has an output of 10W or more, it can charge the 430 mAh battery in Buds' case at maximum speed [There is no wireless charging option for the Buds, however; Liu explained that "that would increase the cost of the earbuds," which OnePlus wants to keep down [This, compared to the base price of $160 for the AirPods, $180 for the Pixel Buds 2, and $150 for the Galaxy Buds Plus, looks very attractive to those looking to invest in true wireless audio on a budget
OnePlus previously announced on its forums that the Buds have a total playback time of 30 hours, or 7 hours without the charging case This is 6 and 2 hours longer than the AirPods' playback time, respectively, and we have praised the long battery life of Apple's earbuds in the past; if OnePlus' claims about the Buds are correct, it is unlikely that you will have trouble with a dead battery
OnePlus Buds will appear at the July 21 event along with the mid-range smartphone Nord the OnePlus Nord is exciting for the same reasons as the Buds, and will offer impressive hardware at a price under $500 the Nord will feature a refresh rate of rate of 90Hz, a 64-inch AMOLED display, a large 4,115mAh battery, a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G chipset, and up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage
If that's not enough, four rear cameras with 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 2MP portrait sensors, combined with two selfie cameras, a 32MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera, should convince you that this phone is worth your attention to convince you that this is a phone that deserves your attention
