Here's the cheapest AirPods sale we've seen this year: Staples is currently selling the AirPods Pro for $199. That's $50 off and blows away all the other AirPods Pro sales we've seen this year. (This sale has sold out, but is still available on Verizon for $219.99.) Meanwhile, Staples is offering the AirPods with Standard Charging Case for $129. This is a $30 discount and also the lowest price of the year. Both sales are the best new semester sales of the season.

We recommend opting for the AirPods Pro. They are the best wireless earbuds we've reviewed and probably won't be in this price range until the rumored Amazon Prime Day in October.

The AirPods Pro have a redesigned, compact form factor with three built-in microphones and six sensors. They also feature Apple's H1 chip, which allows them to instantly connect to an iPhone or MacBook.

As mentioned in our AirPods Pro review, we like its noise-canceling performance, water resistance, and Transparency mode, which allows you to hear sounds around you even when noise cancellation is turned on. I have been using these buds for all types of workouts since they were released. Whether I'm doing burpees or running outdoors, these buds sound great and stay in place. I used to own a Jabra Elite Active 65t, but this bud was constantly falling out while running, and the AirPods Pro are my go-to workout earbuds and my daily-use buds.
