The release date of Nvidia GeForce RTX3080 may be Imminent — here's the proof

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 is likely to be announced in early September, along with a series of consumer graphics cards based on the Ampere architecture.

At least one source told WCCFtech that Nvidia plans to announce three next-generation graphics cards in September; in October, graphics cards featuring the GeForce RTX 2070 or RTX 2060 could be available . Two more cards are expected to follow, although it is unclear when.

Nvidia is said to be introducing a new generation of GeForce cards based on the success of the Turing architecture, which introduced dedicated real-time ray tracing hardware. two years have passed.

Nvidia has joined the hype train with a tweet that reads "#UltimateCountdown" and includes footage of what appears to be a rendered interstellar event, which looks pretty cool considering Twitter's video resolution limitations:

For the 20 series, Nvidia introduced the top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, followed by the RTX 2080 and RTX 2070. Then came the GeForce RTX 2060, a mid-range Turing-based graphics card that has undoubtedly made ray tracing affordable for many PC gamers.

Given the release stages detailed by WCCFtech's sources, it will come as no surprise to hear that the GeForce RTX 3090 will headline the new GeForce lineup, followed by the RTX 3080 Ti and the much-rumored RTX 3080. These GPUs will make up Nvidia's high-end graphics card options. Leaks indicate that the top-end Ampere GeForce cards could feature as much as 24GB of video memory.

And in October, the GeForce TX 3070 Ti and RTX 3070 could make up Ampere's second tier of graphics cards, or possibly the RTX 3070 and RTX 3060.

However, the latter card, aimed at next-generation mid-range gaming, could be one of the GPUs to appear later this year or early 2021. the GeForce RTX 3060 will lead PC gamers seeking a powerful yet affordable graphics card potential, and another GPU to be announced along with it could be a less powerful or adjusted version of the RTX 3060.

By staggering the releases in this way, Nvidia can release a graphics card that can overcome any AMD blowback. Team Red is working on an Nvidia killer "Big Navi" graphics card that is supposed to take on the best GeForce GPUs. However, they could also release a new graphics card based on the same RDNA 2 graphics architecture used in the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X GPUs, offering a powerful graphics card at a very competitive price.

It won't be long before we see what Nvidia has been working on for the next generation of GeForce cards. Also, with new game consoles on the horizon, as well as Big Navi and other PC hardware, the second half of this year is shaping up to be quite interesting for PC gamers.
