Apple plans to unveil a software services bundle called "Apple One" this fall, along with new hardware including the iPhone 12 and Apple Watch 6 [Bloomberg reports that Apple One is expected to launch as early as October According to Bloomberg, the Apple One could arrive as early as October, possibly coinciding with the launch of the iPhone 12
Bloomberg states that the bundle is "designed to encourage customers to subscribe to more Apple services"
According to Bloomberg's sources, Apple will use a tiered system The most affordable tier will bundle Apple Music and Apple TV Plus, while the more affordable tier will add Apple Arcade and then Apple News Plus Bloomberg states that this bundle will save users between $2 and $5 per month, depending on the tier they subscribe to
For reference, here are the stand-alone prices for each service:
Some tiers may include iCloud storage for photos and files Storage is currently $099, $299, and $999 per month, depending on the number of GB needed
Of Apple's services, Apple Music is the most popular, but newer initiatives such as Apple Arcade have not yet received much attention from iPhone users
Therefore, if Apple can offer all of its services at a lower price than they would cost on their own, it may encourage users to establish loyalty and try services they might not otherwise use
Apple could also run sign-up promotions, lowering the cost of the first bundle tier for a short period of time or offering a free one- or two-week trial
If Apple One is released in October, we should know more soon, including its price and whether it will be included in the iOS 14 update to be released this fall
