Nate's latest robot vacuum Cleaner is a pet owner's dream

One of the biggest benefits of robot vacuums is for pet owners and allergy sufferers Robotic vacuum cleaners make it more convenient to regularly sweep floors for hairballs, dust, and pollen

Neato's latest high-end robot vacuum cleaner, the Neato D10, features a HEPA filter and a special pet mode that picks up particles as small as 03 microns It will be available this fall along with Neato's other two robot vacuums, which feature laser mapping and a redesigned app

All three Neato models will be available in late October or November, with the Neato D10 priced at $899 This is the same price as one of our favorite robot vacuums, iRobot's Roomba S9 However, the S9 can be purchased with a base that empties the vacuum cleaner

The Neato D9 costs $799 and the D8 $699

We can also expect sales on the D7, D6, and D4 as retailers clear out their inventory; given that both the Neato D7 and Neato D4 are listed on our best robot vacuum cleaners page, it is worth seeing how much the prices drop

The Neato D10 was announced at IFA along with the Neato D9 and D8 These three models will replace the D7, D6, and D4 in the company's Good-Better-Best lineup of robot vacuums

All three of Neato's newest robot vacuums have a sleeker, more minimalist design In a way, the sharper edges are reminiscent of the new iPhone 12; the D10 is aluminum, the D9 is black metallic, and the D8 is dark blue

Another feature found in all three models is LIDAR-based mapping, the ability to save up to three floor plans, and the ability to create virtual rooms and off-limits zones in the Neato app It also allows for scheduled cleaning and zone cleaning

The top-of-the-line model is the Neato D10, which has a HEPA H13 filter According to the company, lab tests show that it can capture allergens as small as 03 microns It also has a pet mode specifically for furry friends and has 6200 mAh that lasts up to 150 minutes on a charge, according to the company

The Neato D9 has a 4200 mAh battery with 120 minutes of run time; it has a HEPA-style E11 filter that can remove particles as small as 10 microns However, it does not have a specific pet mode

The Neato D8 has a 2100mAh battery with 90 minutes of run time and an E11 filter similar to the D9 However, the D8's filter is a "high performance" filter, whereas the D9 is an "ultra-high performance" filter

As the owner of two cats and a dog, the battle with shedding hair is a constant one In tests of robot vacuums, both the Neato D7 and D4 removed an average of 90% of dog hair, which is pretty good
