CBS All Access first launched in October 2014 as one of the first standalone streaming services by a television network Subscriptions start at $6 per month and provide access to a library that includes the current hits "Survivor" and "Big Brother" as well as originals such as "The Twilight Zone" and "Star Trek: Discovery" As of the end of June, CBS All Access and Showtime combined had 162 million subscribers
Rumors of a name change by ViacomCBS have been swirling for months Recently, the company has been adding more content to its cable properties to CBS All Access, with plans to build a library of 30,000 TV episodes and movies

In addition to the new name change, the streaming distributor is developing a series based on one of Paramount Studios' most iconic films, The Godfather The film trilogy was added to CBS All Access this summer (though not exclusively, as the movies are also streaming on Peacock) The Offer is a scripted limited series that chronicles the making of the Oscar-winning first film from the perspective of producer Al Radi
