While most iPhone iOS updates are frustrating, Apple Watch 3 owners are particularly upset with the impact watchOS 7 is having on their smartwatches.

As reported by 9to5Mac, watchOS 7 causes multiple restarts per day, and one user stated that the restarts also erase activity statistics. This is based on complaints received on Apple's forums, Reddit, and other sites.

Another user complained that watchOS 7 locked up his Apple Watch and prevented him from reading face complications.

Other watchOS 7 complaints range from poor performance and the Apple Watch 3 failing to unlock the MacBook to the battery draining much faster than before.

Apple released the watchOS 7.0.1 update, but according to Apple Watch 3 owners, this problem has not been fixed. Apparently, other Apple Watch models are not affected.

Apple's watchOS 7 update has several advantages, including sleep tracking, family sharing capabilities, the ability to customize activity goals, and more customizable watch faces. However, some Apple Watch 3 owners are hoping to downgrade to watchOS 6 now.

If you have not yet upgraded your Apple Watch 3 to watchOS 7, you may want to hold off on updating until Apple can address these issues.
