Apple modestly rates the iPad mini 5's battery life at up to 10 hours, but we have seen it last 2 hours and 40 minutes longer. This durability is great and means we don't have to constantly remember to charge it at night.

The iPad mini also supports the Apple Pencil stylus for smooth and virtually instantaneous input. iPadOS 14 also allows the Apple Pencil to be used in place of a keyboard.
