With the PS5 launch date just a few days away, consoles are making their way into the real world, and in Japan, into the hands of publications and YouTubers.

This means that for the first time we are getting a proper look at the console in use in the real world. This has shed light on gameplay and the actual hardware itself, in addition to leaked information and Sony's own promotional materials.

What is the most impressive feature? Very fast load times.

Famitsu published gameplay of "Godfall" and "Astro's Playroom" on PS5. And the magazine has much praise for the game's load times. Once you die, you can come back almost immediately.

The built-in 5.5 GB/s SSD is fast on paper, but seeing that speed in the real world is another story." Famitsu says, "The speed from game over to restart was incredible." The PS5's data loading was so fast that it ultimately eliminated the load stress."

The PS5 was also found to run essentially silent and generate minimal heat. Nevertheless, 4gamer recommends that players allow plenty of room around the PS5's intake and exhaust vents.

They recommend 3.5 to 6 inches around the console, meaning that it will need a fairly large space to keep it running properly.

As you have probably heard before, it is worth noting that the PS5 is a very large gaming console. The video underscores just how big the console really is.

For this reason, anyone looking to get a PS5 right away should make room for it near their TV. The good news is that you can choose to place it horizontally or vertically.

Unfortunately, our reporters did not see everything the PS5 has to offer. The UI and dashboard are still a mystery, although a boot screen was reportedly leaked recently. As such, we have no idea how the console will operate in non-gaming situations.

There is much to unpack, but no matter how much of this information is revealed, there is still much we do not know about the PS5 right now. Hopefully that will change soon, especially as we get closer to the launch dates, which are November 12 in the US and November 19 in the UK and Europe.
