The time-out section alone suggests that we are in for some exciting work when PS5 is released to the world. The moving, detailed pieces in this trailer come together like a veritable graphic ballet and are very satisfying. The dance teams take to the court and the workers line up their chairs is fascinating, but it's even cooler to see the audience, seemingly alive, watching their favorite teams face off.

Seeing this kind of technology in action is certainly an exciting prospect for prospective PS5 owners. If this hardware can be achieved in sports games, it should be great in other genres as well - even if photorealism is not the goal.

For console players, higher and more stable frame rates will ensure that NBA 2K21 looks and feels more like a realistic sport. Until now, it has been difficult to achieve smooth frame rates on consoles while at the same time achieving consistently awe-inspiring graphics.

Both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X systems should be powerful enough to ensure the aesthetic appeal of games and provide the fluidity and believable motion required for sports titles.
