Nintendo Switch games are rarely discounted, but for Amazon Prime Day, several games have been marked down.

Amazon has Super Mario Odyssey for $44 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $44: Super Mario Odyssey has been available since 2017, but the mechanics of possession by the power of an awakened cap are fascinating and still surprisingly fresh The game feels like a game. And the world to explore, the secrets to uncover, the stars to find are vast.

One of the best of Nintendo's vast Mario games, and highly recommended, especially now that it's a bit cheaper.

The same goes for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. First released on the Nintendo Wii U, the Nintendo Switch version has been reworked to fit the hybrid console. It looks and plays very well, and offers a different, yet well polished 2D platformer than Super Mario Odyssey. [As for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," it is not only one of the best Zelda games ever, but perhaps one of the best games ever. It's a great mix of open-world exploration, interplay systems, puzzles, clever combat, and more. You will almost certainly not regret buying it.
