The conventional wisdom is that you can't put a price on security, but Amazon is able to offer good products at a good price. [Amazon-owned security camera brand Blink is particularly good in this regard, offering good value for money for generations. And right now, the Blink Mini Indoor Cam is just $25 on Amazon. That's 28% off the regular price.

The inexpensive Blink Mini doesn't inherit all the great features of its predecessors, such as being wired and charging a small fee for cloud storage, but it is an excellent value for money whether you are buying a camera for the first time or adding a new camera to your existing Blink network. The camera is excellent for the first time.

The camera captures 1080p video at 30 fps with a 110-degree field of view. In our review, we found that the image quality is excellent for a camera in this price range, and unlike some competitors, Blink offers really good granularity options. For example, you can set specific areas for motion detection and adjust the length of clips that are played back.

Blink accounts created before April 15, 2020, still benefit from free cloud storage, but unfortunately new subscribers will have to pay. The basic subscription is $3 per camera per month and includes 60 days of rolling storage with up to 2 hours of recording. The Blink Plus subscription, on the other hand, is $10 per month, but with an unlimited number of cameras.

All of these high points were covered in our review of the Blink Mini, which received three and a half stars, and its main drawback was the availability of less expensive alternatives, including the excellent Wyze Cam. However, at $25, the Blink Mini is a serious contender for those who want enhanced home security on a budget.
