While not the newest headphones, the Bose SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless Headphones II offer rich, balanced sound, and at £118, 41% off the regular £199 sale price, are definitely At £118, it's definitely worth a look.

Originally released in 2015, the SoundLink headphones are now playing second fiddle to the company's Quiet Comfort II range - especially as they don't have more modern features like aptX or active noise cancellation.

Instead of the latter, Bose promises noise isolation, and you might be surprised at how much of the world this headphone can block out.

The headphones offer 15 hours worth of battery life and a built-in microphone for voice and video calls. They come with a carrying case, and you can choose between black with blue trim or white with gold cups. Both look quite stylish. It's no wonder that the lowest used price on Amazon is £29 higher.

This year's UK Prime Day headphone deals are somewhat bewildering with so many choices; if you want something a little newer than the Bose headphones and can stretch your budget a bit further, we recommend the excellent Sony WH-1000XM3 for £238 or the Bowers and Wilkins PX7 for £228.
