Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Leak Just Revealed stunning iPhone 12 Pro

Over the weekend, we got our first glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy S21, the flagship that will lead the pack of Samsung devices in 2021. But as is always the case, it is clear that the S21 will not appear alone.

OnLeaks, the leak source who released the Galaxy S21 renderings, has another treat in store for us: a first look at the ultra-premium Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The camera area is huge, but overall the design looks more refined than the current Galaxy S20 Ultra.

According to the renderings, both the S21 and S21 Ultra look familiar to those who have seen the S20 and Note 20 series; the S21 series appears to feature a rectangular camera array, while the S21 Ultra's features a fourth much larger and nearly square in shape to accommodate the fact that it has a camera lens.

The S21 Ultra's camera also appears to be positioned to wrap around the terminal like the S21's, but its camera bump is thicker and more pronounced, making it not as sleek as the smaller terminal's. Perhaps a larger bump is needed to accommodate the extra hardware, and we have heard rumors that there may be two optical zoom lenses, each offering 3x and 10x zoom.

According to OnLeaks, the Ultra will have a 6.7" to 6.9" display, measuring 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9 mm (10.8 mm including the camera bump), slightly smaller than the 166.9 x 76 x 8.8 mm S20 Ultra. This suggests that the work Samsung has done to minimize the bezel has allowed it to squeeze the same amount of screen into a slightly smaller device.

As before, there is a hole-punch camera at the top of the display, but only one. It seems unlikely that Samsung will jump on the dual selfie bandwagon with this model.

Of note, the OnLeaks renderings show that the Galaxy S21 Ultra's display has a pronounced curve along the edges, a typical edge for Samsung's Note 20 series to adopt a more delicate 2.5D screen This is odd given that the display was eliminated. The standard S21, on the other hand, appears to have a completely flat screen, as far as we can tell.

OnLeaks has already heard that Samsung expects the S21 to launch in January, rather than the usual mid- to late-February launch. However, rumors have long said that the release date for the next Galaxy S is getting earlier and earlier, and so far nothing has been forthcoming. Therefore, we just have to wait and see what happens and in the meantime enjoy all the inevitable S21 leaks that will come our way.
